37-Year-Old DoorDash Exec, Both Parents Among 8 Killed In Lake Tahoe After Boat Overturns
A young executive for on-demand food delivery service DoorDash and his mother and father were among eight people killed when a boat with 10 onboard capsized in Lake Tahoe, on the border between California and Nevada.
The other boaters who died were all friends of the exec, Josh Pickles, including his 72-year-old uncle, Peter Bayes, according to San Francisco's KTVU, which reported the group was celebrating the birthday of Pickles' mother, Paula Bozinovich, who turned 71. Pickles' father, Terry Pickles, was 73 years old.

45 Sickened, 16 Hospitalized As Salmonella Outbreak In Cucumbers Expands To 18 States
A Salmonella outbreak linked to a cucumber producer has now expanded to 18 states with 45 illnesses and 16 hospitalizations now reported.
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a new recall for Bedner Growers cucumbers on Friday, May 30.
The recalled cucumbers, grown in Boynton Beach, Florida, and distributed by Fresh Start Produce Sales, were shipped to retailers, distribution centers, wholesalers, and food service dealers from Tuesday, April 29, to Monday, May 19.
The products were labeled as either being “supers,” “selects,” or “plains."

President Donald Trump says gas is down to $1.98 a gallon, but that number doesn't exist at any pump in the country.
In early May, Trump has repeatedly claimed gas has fallen below $2 a gallon. He made the claim in the White House, social media posts, and during an interview with NBC's Meet the Press on Sunday, May 4.
