According to its website, the Hudson House, which  specializes in contemporary American cuisine, occupies a historic building that once served as Nyack's village hall and jailhouse, adding a unique touch to its setting. 

Co-owner and baker Matt Hudson has crafted a dessert menu that perfectly complements the fine dining experience, featuring indulgent offerings like Black Bottom Banana Cream Pie and Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake, per its website.
