Traffic Alert: Tractor-Trailer Hits Overpass, Closing 3 Lanes Of Route 17 In Orange County A tractor-trailer hauling an excavator hit an overpass in Orange County and rolled over, blocking three eastbound traffic lanes on Route 17.  The incident occurred in Orange County early Tuesday, Dec. 10, in Goshen at Exit 124. Trooper Jennifer Alvarez said there are detours in place. But traffic is backed up. The lanes are expected to be closed for several hours.  This is a developing story. Route 303 To Close In Orangetown Over Weekend For Repairs Motorists in Rockland County can expect delays and detours as Route 303 closes in both directions for sewer repair work. The New York State Department of Transportation said Route 303 between Route 20 (Orangeburg Road) and Erie Street in the town of Orangetown will be closed in both directions from 8 p.m. on Friday, June 28, through Noon on Saturday, June 29, to facilitate sewer main repairs, weather permitting. Motorists should use the posted detour as an alternate. For more information, call 511.

Route 32 Closure Scheduled A stretch of Route 32 will be closed for several hours in both directions in the area to allow highway crews to continue work in the area. The New York State Department of Transportation announced that southbound and northbound lanes on Route 32 will be closed from approximately 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8, between James Street and West Bridge Street in the Village of Saugerties in Ulster County.
