Bellmore Man DWI Crashes Into Wantagh Home, Police Say
A Bellmore man was arrested for drunk driving after crashing his car into a Wantagh home, causing extensive damage, Nassau County police said.
Officers from the Eighth Precinct responded to Gregg Court at 12:19 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, after a 2019 Hyundai Elantra slammed into a house, police said. The driver, identified as Daniel Delia, 33, of Cedar Lane, was taken into custody at the scene without further incident.

Two people were trapped when their vehicle overturned into a Mountville home Sunday morning, Jan. 5, fire officials said.
The Mountville Fire Company No. 1 was dispatched to the crash around 9 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 5, along with Squad 7-1, Engine 7-2, and Duty Officer Assistant Chief Duquin, who responded with 10 crew members, according to the fire company.
