Hegseth Orders Navy To Rename Harvey Milk Ship, Report Says US Defense Secretary has ordered the Navy to rename a ship honoring Harvey Milk, America’s first openly gay elected official, this month, Pride Month, Military.com reports. The USNS Harvey Milk, an oiler ship named in 2016 under the Obama administration, is reportedly set to be rebranded in the coming weeks.
